Project 3 - Bouncing Ball, March 4th
The first principle of animation that i used was squash and stretch. I manipulated the dimensions of the ball to make it appear to flatten and expand as it bounced across the rocks in my animation

The second principle of animation i used was arcs. I used the principle of arcs to give the ball a realistic flight path as it bounced across by animation.
Last but not least, i used the principle of anticipation. In the picture to the left, the ball bounces up and down in preparation for its death defying stunt. The anticipation comes before the jump, as the ball squashes, before stretching to animate the potential energy necessary for the jump.

Storyboard

The scene opens with the ball on a cliff. Two rocks stick out of the ocean filled with terrifying sharks. A ring is all that stands between the last rock and the safety of the platform at the other side. The ball rolls the the edge of the cliff, and takes a peak at the death defying stunt. It then rolls back and jumps up in the air to psych itself up. The ball then rockets off the platform and bounces off both rocks and goes through the ring before landing safely on the platform at the other side.
